The Beginnings
"My interest in Bernese Mountain Dogs arose in 1997 when I saw the first Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Nalle, who came to Pärnu. I knew that this was the dog I wanted for myself one day.
Long waits and negotiations finally ended with the arrival of Mann from the Finnish kennel Black Amiikos.
While attending shows and school with Mann, I finally gave in to the "dog world."

Kennel Margarita Nigra was registered in FCI and EKL at 2004. The name means "Black Pearl" in Latin.
Welsh Corgis
In 2006, our dog family was joined by Fiona, a Welsh Corgi Cardigan girl from Imago's kennel in Finland.
Welsh Corgis are also extremely skilled herding dogs, who herded the flock during the day and guarded at night. Such a difficult life required contentment, agility and wisdom from the dog.
These are still the hallmarks of the breed today.
And the rest is history
